NEWARK, NJ, July 22-This evening's Atlantic League game between the Newark Bears and the Somerset Patriots has been postponed due to poor weather conditions. The two teams will make the game up on Wednesday September 3rd at 12:05 PM as part of a doubleheader at Bears and Eagles Riverfront Stadium.

Fans with tickets for today's scheduled game may exchange them for tickets to any other game on the Bears 2003 schedule. Exchanges may be made at the Bears box office at Bears and Eagles Riverfront Stadium. The Bears ticket office number is (973) 483-6900.

Newark will continue their 2003 season on Wednesday, July 23rd at 12:05 PM with a game at home against the Pennsylvania Road Warriors. Calvin Maduro (0-2) will pitch for the Bears tomorrow, while the Road Warriors will counter with Steve Gagliano (2-8).
